HURST FIRSTSmart Home

Professional Partners

A collaborative technology partner for carefully delivered homes.

Hurst First supports contractors, architects, designers and consultants with residential technology that respects design intent, stays flexible through the build, and is supported directly after handover.

How we work with you

Built around collaboration, not complication.

Technology should strengthen the project — protecting finishes, supporting the programme and leaving clients with a home that simply works.

01

Collaboration first

We work alongside your team — not around it. Architects, designers, main contractors and consultants stay informed, with clear communication and shared responsibility for a clean outcome.

02

Flexible to the project

Every programme is different. We adapt to design intent, construction sequencing and client priorities, adjusting scope and method without forcing a one-size system onto the home.

03

Done properly the first time

Infrastructure, product selection and commissioning are planned carefully before finishes close. Getting the fundamentals right early protects the architecture and avoids costly rework later.

04

Direct after-support

After handover, you and your client deal with us directly. No call-centre layers — practical help with refinements, questions and ongoing system care from the people who installed it.

Project involvement

From first conversation to lasting aftercare.

We join the project early enough to plan properly, stay flexible as details evolve, and remain available once the client is living in the home.

01

Early consultation

We join at concept or tender stage to understand design intent, programme constraints and what the finished home needs to do day to day.

02

Technology planning

Infrastructure drawings, cabinet locations, cable routes, access-point positions and control provisions are coordinated with your wider package.

03

Trade coordination

We work with electrical, joinery, MEP and finishing teams so installation stays discreet, sequenced and respectful of the architecture.

04

Install & commission

Equipment is installed, programmed and tested. Scenes and everyday controls are set so the home feels considered — not complicated.

05

Handover & aftercare

Clients receive a clear walkthrough. Support remains direct with Hurst First for refinements and ongoing assistance after practical completion.

Doing it once, properly

Better outcomes come from earlier decisions.

Structured cabling, lighting control provisions, speaker locations, network cabinets and shade infrastructure are far cleaner when planned before finishes. We help teams make those decisions with clarity — and keep options open where the design still needs room to move.

  • Clear infrastructure requirements for the wider package
  • Discreet installation that protects architectural intent
  • Practical commissioning and a calm client handover

After support

Direct help when the project is lived in.

Once the keys are handed over, clients still need someone who understands the installation. We provide straightforward after-support — refinements, guidance and practical assistance — without routing people through anonymous support queues.

Commercial arrangements, programme commitments and defined responsibilities are agreed per project. Nothing on this page constitutes a fixed service-level promise.
